This Knowledge Note distills key insights from China's advancements across various domns of disaster risk management.
Based on expert perspectives from the Chinese community focused on disaster risk reduction DRR, this document highlights themes including the evolution of national DRR planning, the rise of demonstration communities, the advancement in disaster loss statistics systems, development of an agricultural insurance system, and establishment of a catastrophe risk insurance framework.
